The WASC Proposal, submitted in October 2007, lays the groundwork for several years of accreditation-related work here at CSUMB. This reaffirmation of accreditation is a significant milestone for a young university, requiring the coordinated efforts of a cross-sectional, representative working group.

In Spring 2007, nominations were solicited from deans, faculty, and administrative colleagues for three WASC committees: The Steering Committee, the Capacity Committee, and the Educational Effectiveness Committee.
